Look familiar?
As before, I lifted up the lid of the cat food container and found the "surprise" inside, looking less-than-happy to see me. Like last time, the lid was resting on the top of the five-gallon bucket when I found the opossum inside it, so that puzzled me for a while. My mom suggested one of the only possible explanations so far - the creature had pushed up the lid without knocking it completely off the top, and then the lid had settled back down on top after it had gone inside.
Forgive the bad quality on the last photo - I had to use flash, but even so, the shutter speed was still slow and I wasn't using a tripod.
