Cars & Coffee

I went to Cars and Coffee in Charlotte this morning with my dad, and although I had to wake up at 5:15 in order to get there on time (we arrived at a little past 8 since it's 2+ hours away) and I found out that I had missed a friend's graduation, I got to see some cool cars and got quite a few photos. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see a Ferrari 599 (or better yet, a 599 GTO), but I hope to see some cars like that if I ever go to the Cars and Coffee in Austin or Houston when visiting my aunt. More later (where I hope to write something of substance as well).

I. Want. Those. Cars. I think that's all I have to say.

Jess, many of them were in immaculate condition...perhaps you'd spot some nice cars like these in your area, particularly if you live near a large city, if you learn to recognize them.

I was just in Charlotte Friday :)
I'm glad you got to go. Those are really awesome pictures :)

Riah,
Thank you. :)
Ah, too bad you and Lys weren't there on Saturday at Cars and Coffee as well so I could have met you. :(
Unfortunately, not only was there not a Ferrari 599 there, a friend who has also gotten engaged recently and lives in Charlotte now (the eldest son of the pastor of our last church), who I was hoping might show up didn't, so I probably won't see him again before we move. Oh well; you can't get everything you want, can you?

Kala,
You should see some of the cars at the Cars and Coffee in Irvine, CA, and elsewhere!

Aaron,
Thanks! I bet it would be. The funny thing is, both the red Ferrari 360 (or one of them, if there were multiple) and 355 didn't start right away when their drivers tried to start them; they had to wait for a bit. :)

Those are some fancy cars. You're so lucky to be able to go to places like that. Your photos are so cool.

Jess,
Oh, nice. Haha. You're welcome.

Imogen,
Thank you very much. :)

Dorothy,
Hello, cousin! :D
I'm doing ok but we're pretty busy since we're moving next month.
Too bad you live so far away; if you lived here in the US like in Austin, Texas, where my aunt (my mom's sister) lives, I could see you again sometime. :~\

Hello :)
I thank you for checking out my blog, yours sure looks interesting!
I saw you added me on flickr too, I'll have to look through your photos properly when I have some time. Well, I guess you always have time, but not free time. . .oh never mind.
Oh, and to change the subject completely, I noticed you had All Angels on your playlist. You are the first person in the States I've met who has actually heard of them! Anyways. Bye.

Stephanie,
Thanks so much!

Lula,
Hello to you as well. :)
Thank you! Most of the blogs I follow/read are either those of amateur photographers or writers (photography and writing are two things I like very much, as well as other artistic pursuits, and...a bunch of other stuff), and I liked what I saw on your blog.
I'm hoping to be able to post more often and work on both photography, writing, and more after we move next month and I have a bit more time.

As for All Angels, I haven't listened to them in a while, but I think I'm familiar with and like a fairly wide variety of music...I think some of the artists I like aren't very well-known over here, such as Hayley Westenra, Loreena McKennitt, Within Temptation, Blackmore's Night, and many others (not including many that more people in the US seem to have heard of, as well as some very popular ones).
Anyway, I'll stop rambling; thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice comment! :)

Sam,
Thanks!

Thank you, Mylena.
I told James about it and I think he might have liked it had he gone.

Glad you had fun and got to see some cool cars Maxi-boy!

Haha Kris,
You and Jess with the "Maxi-boy". :D
Like I told Jess, just don't do what my little brother does and call me "Maxi-boo". That is not cool, not cool at all.
