Minstrel

We looked back
To one of those Bygone Days
When the king said
Minstrel, take your instrument and play
Play for us all.

I've been thinking about the lyrics of this song recently; I think they're pretty good:

Calmer of my troubled heart
Bid my unbelief depart
Speak, and all my sorrows cease
Speak, and all my soul is peace.
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Comfort me when e’er I mourn
with the hope of Thy return
And til I Thy glories see
Help me believe in Thee
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I've never heard that song before - at least I don't think I have... Anyway, I love those pictures. The first one I think I like better..? Maybe :)

What did you think of the song? I've found a bunch of artists I hadn't heard of before but now like, thanks to Noisetrade.com (win case you haven't checked it out, there's a bunch of music on there - all free and legal, including some by well-known artists like The Civil Wars, Joy Williams, Owl City, etc.) including Matthew Smith, Anna Gilbert, Amy Courts, Tirzah Lemmens (now Tirzah Payne), Jess Penner (very happy-sounding), The Vespers, Katie Herzig (these last two are kind of odd and quirky but fun-sounding), Jenny & Tyler, Kacie Williams, Kendra Springer, and more.

Thanks Riah. :) I decided to try something a bit different with the unfocused one.

Anyway - nope I had never heard of Noisetrade before. I'll have to check it out some more :)
