Happy Fourth of July!

Everyone, enjoy your Fourth, relax, and don't get blown up or start forest fires with fireworks.
Have a great day!

Hannah, for some reason your comment didn't appear here...I saw it, though.
Anyway, you may want to change the "please comment" line on your blog, since you removed the comments box.

Ah! You're right. Thanks for pointing that out; I forgot that was still up. :)

Not to be rude, but I just noticed something on your blog that seems a little weird:
You have the name of one of the cars you like as "Honda Avalance." Well, there isn't any Honda Avalance. There's a Chevy Avalanche and a Honda Ridgeline, which share some similarities.
The photo you have is of a Honda Ridgeline.
I guess if you took parts from both vehicles or had half of the truck a Honda Ridgeline and the other half a Chevy Avalanche, it could be a Honda Avalanche or Chevy Ridgeline. :)
Just trying to help.

AH! *blushes* Hmmmm....that's weird, though...Every time I typed in Honda Avalanche, that photo came up...also, we HAVE a Honda Avalanche here in town. No joke. It's a Honda, and on the back, it says "Honda Avalanche". That's strange....are you sure?
At first I had thought that the Honda Avalanche and Chevy Avalanche were the same things, but then I googled it. *Ah, the help of Google...sometimes*
Anyway, yeah, thanks; I'll probe into that some more. :)

This reminds me of the time...I thought I wrote a post about this, but I can't seem to find it.

It was a time when I was at Harris Teeter and I saw a Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG (the previous generation model) parked in a handicapped parking spot. As I was looking at it, to young women came up and admired it, saying things like "E63", "Is this the new E-Class?", "Ooh, Black Series", and things like that. I told them that it wasn't the new E-Class, which has trapezoidal headlights, and that there was no E-Class Black Series.
After the girls had left, I was still looking at it (taking photos with my cellphone camera, actually), when an old lady with white hair walked out of the post office or somewhere and came and asked me, "Do you have a question about my car?" I asked, rather surprised, "This is your car?" After all, I think most older people are more interested in just a comfortable luxury vehicle than one that will catapult you from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.
She said that she "likes to put the pedal down sometimes," she was "planning on taking her car to the racetrack," and thinks "it's too bad it's her and not some young person driving the car."

Anyway, the main point I was getting to was that I was basically kicking myself afterwards because I forgot to ask her a question - "Who put the Black Series sticker on your car?"
There were three Mercedes Black series vehicles made: the SLK 55 AMG Black Series, CLK 63 AMG Black Series, and SL 65 AMG Black Series. No E 63. The point is, anyone can put letters on the back of their vehicle to make it say it's a different model than it is...I seem to remember seeing something else like that before, but I can't remember right now. I'll put the E 63 "Black Series" photo by the other car photos on the bottom of my blog so you can see it.

Actually, I'll put the E 63 photos in a post.
