Busy

Yes, I am busy packing boxes in preparation of moving.
I haven't had time to get a lot of new photos recently, so here's on old one:
Take That!
With some editing, it might be able to be ok, but as it is, it's unimpressive, especially with "Snowball thrower Noah's" face being underexposed. I may get around to further editing once I have the time and figure out PS actions and other advanced editing stuff. Remember, this isn't going to win any awards; I just though it fit the theme of "family fun," and I thought it was amusing at one time.
Speaking of non-high-quality photos, there's another one from a while back of Pepper again that I just think it looks funny, but I can't find it; if I do I'll add it to this post.

love the snow picture!
question (this is super stupid, and i have a feeling that the answer is gonna be simple): how do you get that flicker photostream onto your side-bar?

Thanks, Jess. :)
To get the Flickr gadget, from your Blogger Dashboard, go to Settings > Design > Add a Gadget > click the Search for Gadgets box > type "Flickr" in the box and search for it; it should be one of the results that comes up. That's the simple answer.

However, I think it was Carlotta @ Pastor's Girl's Ponderings who had a better Flickr gadget which played a slideshow of photos from her Flickr photostream, and I decided to look for that one... and seem to have found it:
If you have a Flickr account (you should be able to log in with your Google account), try going here:

Jess, actually, just go straight to "Design" and skip the "settings" button if you're using the first method, otherwise it's just an extra, unnecessary step. Oops.

If you use the second method like I just did, go through the steps at the page I gave the URL to, get the code, and then paste it into a "HTML/Javascript" gadget. Now I just need to go back and redo the new gadget to see if I can make it bigger and change the colors...

You're welcome, Jess. :-) I'm glad it worked and I was able to be of help.
Maxi-boy? Haha. :D
At least it wasn't "Maxi-boo", as one of my little brothers likes to call me (and to which I generally respond to - like Sacajawea did in Night At the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - with "That is not my name."

Awwh the picture is adorable. One of your siblings I assume?

Maximillian said...

Thanks, Kristan. :-)
Yes, the snowball thrower is Noah, my second youngest brother, and he's bombarding Noble (a.k.a. Gnome), the youngest brother in the family.

lol, sorry! i am such a big nick-name person. i do it ALL the time! hey, maxi-boo is a good one....i suppose I would get the same response!

Maximillian said...

Haha, have you thought of any others for me?

maxo-boy is always a good one...i think maxim sounds pretty awesome. i could come up with some pretty weird ones...but i won't embarrass you:-) lol have a good one!

Funny. Maxo-boy? Ok, that's weird.
Wasn't there a character named Maxim in a famous novel in which the man the main character married was said to have murdered his wife? I can't remember what it was called (I haven't read it)...
My real name means "greatest" or "great", and while I don't really care about that, don't embarrass me now, Jess. ;-)
Have a good one as well (without tornadoes, earthquakes, or other natural or unnatural disasters).
